Ufone presents 'The Lion King'
ISLAMABAD: Aug 05,2008 - Ufone, one of the leading telecom operators in Pakistan, has brought a well adapted stage drama, The Lion King, for the aficionados of theatrical performances in Islamabad. Ufone has sponsored The Lion King, produced and directed by Ghazala Siddiqui, a well known name of theatre world. The cast of this play includes some of the renowned actors of Islamabad, including, Asad Khan, Tulin Khalid Azim, Natasha Aijaz, Uzair Jaswal, Shahana Khan and Hamza to name a few. The Lion King, a famous cartoon and Walt Disney epic is still very popular amongst all age groups. Now Ghazala Siddiqui with her talented cast and proud sponsorship of Ufone has brought this enchanting play with beautiful costumes and designs to stage. The play will continue all the way till August 10, 2008 at the PNCA auditorium. Ufone has been involved in sponsoring theatrical performances since 2004. The previous famous and well received plays that Ufone brought to its audience included, Phantom of the Opera, Dracula, Moulin Rouge, The Good Doctor and Freedom Bound. Beware of any SMS which contains a string like '03332597334u2u50' or any call that asks you to give the number on the back of a scratch card as this is fraud and will cause you a loss.

Attention all Ufone Prepaid and Postpay customers! As per new Government Income Tax (Amendment) Ordinance 2011, withholding tax upon each Prepaid balance recharge and Postpay bill payment has been decreased from 11.5% to 10%. This new tax amendment is applicable from 1st July, 2011.

Note: From 21st September 2012, calls to 333 from Ufone prepaid numbers will be charged at Rs. 1.50 + tax per call however charges for speaking to Ufone customer care representative will be reduced from Re.1.00 to Rs.0.75 + tax per call.
